Organization is Key

It is vital for the success of any testing that Software Test Engineers & Quality Assurance are organized and their information is always up to date. LadyBug lets you view all project versions for a project, all test cases under a version of a project, the steps under a case, and incidents under any of the above - in a simple, user friendly interface. Confusion is a thing of the past, as each page explicitly tells you what you are viewing and the menu is always accessible, enabling you full mobility to move around the system quickly and efficiently.

Stay Informed

Need constant updates on Test Case statuses? Each user has their own individualized email notification preferences, accessible from their Dashboard menu. Upon a Test Case changing statuses, if the user has opted to be notified of such an occurrence, the user will receive an email briefly description the change to alert them of any status updates. Users may also use an Internal Messaging System to keep each other informed of testing progress, as well as sharing calendar events, documents and information.

Stay on Track

Regression testing with LadyBug is easy to follow, just follow the Test Steps under each Test Case and ensure that any incidents which were filed have not re-appeared in your system. When you complete the Test Step, mark it as pass. Once all of your Test Steps pass, your Test Case is passed. It's really that simple! If you need to bypass a Test Step for any reason or just want to override the status of a Test Case, you can do that as well.

Eliminate Reappearing Bugs & Defects

Sustaining a stable system requires a methodology to accurately find and eliminate defects in the system, and keep them from coming back. Have you ever needed to release a new version of your system but didn't have any way to know what incidents were found previously in the old system? With LadyBug you can copy a whole version of a project and create a new version - taking with it all of the associated Test Cases, Test Steps and incidents. You can perform true regression testing on your new version of the system, while also creating new test cases and steps to test the new functionality. This keeps your new system separate from the old one, but gives you full regression ability to maintain your code stability and eliminate bug reappearances.
